Washington, DC— Angelinos we have an epidemic on our hands. AIDS is the leading cause of death for Blacks from ages 25 to 34 years old. This infectious disease is not targeted to specific demographics such as race, gender, age, or ethnicity. Anyone can get HIV. Recent studies show that teens of all ethnicities are contracting AIDS from sexual conduct at alarming rates. However, according to the Center for Disease Control Blacks make up 13% of the U.S. population, yet they account for about 49% of the people who get HIV and AIDS.
