- Comments (View)We regret that we are no longer accepting requests for inauguration tickets due to the unusually high volume of requests we have already received.
We anticipate that the number of tickets we receive will not be enough for the requests we already have.
If you contacted our office prior to 11/12/08, you have been added to our list for tickets. This does not guarantee you a ticket. Our office will send email updates as we get closer to the inauguration to keep you apprised of the situation regarding tickets.
Please visit inaugural.senate.gov for more information.

Already on the waiting list? We're still distributing tickets, but have had far more requests than we have tickets. You may want to try your luck at the lottery too!
Check to see if you are a 7th district resident by visiting www.house.gov and check out the Rules at the bottom of the page.
Rules:
The Obama Inauguration Ticket lottery is open to all residents of the 7th Congressional District of California who have not already received tickets through California's two Senators, or from another Congressmember. To qualify, all required entry fields above must be filled out with valid information including but not limited to a valid address in 7th Congressional District. District residents are limited to one entry per person. Contest ends at 12 a.m. PST, December 1st. Winners will be selected at random on December 1st and notified by telephone. Tickets are not transferable to third parties.

Already requested tickets from George Miller? You may want to try the lottery because we've received more requests than we can accommodate. These two pairs of tickets are separate from the small allotment of tickets that Rep. Miller intends to distribute to a portion of the constituents who have already requested them.
