WASHINGTON, DC –January 17, 2008 – The City ofCampbellsville has been selected to receive a $364,000 grant through a U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development program, U.S. Representative Ron Lewis announced Thursday. The grant, combined with a $582,000 pre-approved loan, will be used to replace approximately 10 miles of waterline, install new flush hydrants, install meter reconnects, and make improvements to the water treatment plant.
