At Monday's Budget Committee hearing we discussed the need for a second economic stimulus package and heard a direct endorsement for such an effort by Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke. I agree that passing such a recovery package should be at the top of Congress’s agenda as millions of Americans watch their jobs, home values, and retirement funds disappear.
